From Families We Have Worked With
"My mother had been putting this off for years. We finally booked the workshop and came away with an actual plan — a checklist, a filing system, and a sense of where things stood. The facilitator was calm and didn't rush us through anything."

"We brought in about four decades of paper records — some in pretty poor condition. Everything came back scanned, labelled, and in a format we can actually use. I was worried originals would get damaged but they were very careful throughout."

"What I appreciated most was that the facilitator genuinely did not push a particular result. My brother and I had different priorities going in — and by the end of the session we had at least managed to articulate them clearly to each other, which was the point."

"I did the individual workshop on a Saturday morning. Very practical. No complicated jargon. I left with a folder already started and a clear idea of what else I needed to gather. The printed workbook is genuinely useful — I still refer to it."

"We used the digitisation service for my father-in-law's paperwork after he moved into a care facility. There was a lot — mixed Thai and English documents going back 30 years. The final archive was very well-organised. We knew immediately it would save us time later on."

"A friend recommended Heirthread when our family was trying to work out what documents my mother had and where they were. The facilitator helped us structure a conversation that had been difficult to start on our own. I am glad we did it properly rather than just guessing."

A Closer Look at Three Engagements
The Chanthornsak Family
Chonburi • Records Digitisation • April 2025
The Situation
Three adult siblings needed to divide responsibility for ageing parents' affairs. Nobody had a clear picture of what documents existed or where they were stored. Papers were spread across two properties and several shoeboxes.
What We Did
Collected approximately 340 documents across property records, insurance papers, household contracts, and personal correspondence. All items were scanned, classified, and returned within four working days with a full index.
The Outcome
Each sibling received a copy of the completed digital archive. Two months later, one sibling reported that a needed document had been located in under a minute. The family since booked a facilitation session to discuss next steps.
"The archive arrived and suddenly we all had the same information for the first time. It sounds small but it changed a lot of conversations."

Pattaya • Estate Organisation Workshop • March 2025
The Situation
A retired professional living alone wanted to make sure his affairs were clearly laid out for his daughter, who lives abroad. He was not sure what documents he actually needed to keep or how to write down his preferences clearly.
What We Did
Ran a private workshop covering document categories, filing structure, and how to record personal wishes in plain language. Produced a personalised checklist and worked through a draft outline with him during the session.
The Outcome
He completed his personal document folder over the following three weeks. His daughter visited in April and was able to go through everything clearly. He later emailed to say the follow-up Q&A had been helpful for one remaining question about digital accounts.
"I had been meaning to do this for two years. Four hours at Heirthread and I had a proper starting point. The checklist alone was worth it."

Chonburi • Family Meeting Facilitation • May 2025
The Situation
A couple in their 60s wanted their two adult children to understand their wishes and the location of key documents — but every time the topic came up at home, the conversation lost focus or ended before anything was resolved.
What We Did
Held a facilitated session at our Sukhumvit office with all four family members. Facilitator managed the order of speaking and helped each person express their understanding without interruption. Session ran approximately two and a half hours.
The Outcome
All four left with the same written summary of what had been discussed. Both children knew where to find the key documents. The couple later booked the Records Digitisation service to follow up on the practical steps identified in the session.
"We had tried to have this conversation ourselves several times. Having someone calm in the room made a real difference to what we actually got done."
